The Farm Shop at West Yeo Moor

West Yeo Moor Farm

On the top of a hill, with views of Dartmoor to one side and Exmoor to the other is West Yeo Moor Farm.

This 80 acre farm has a history stretching back to the 17th century and has been unaffected by modern farming methods. Without the use of chemicals rare grasses and flowers flourish.

The farm contains endangered Culm grassland and hosts a County Wildlife site within some of the fields. We consider it our duty to protect this unique piece of land by sustainable farming.

All our animals are free-range and grown with the freedom to live happy lives full of interest. The wildflower meadows provide a varied diet on which they thrive.

Supplementary feed comes from the local feed mill (Clean feed Ltd.) We use an abattoir 5 miles away, and butcher the meat on the farm.

Our own produce will travel less than 12 miles before we send it to you!

At West Yeo Moor Farm our first priority is the welfare of our animals. This is paid back in the flavour of our meat!

If you wish to see any of our stock please visit the farm on Thursday to Saturday when the shop is open.
